SAKAKI Gear reached many early supporters through crowdfunding. The numbers are part of the story, but the deeper point is what those supporters recognized: a small factory making objects with intent.

Akatsuki: the first lantern
In 2024, SAKAKI Gear launched its first lantern, Akatsuki, through crowdfunding. It received support from 657 backers and raised 11.5 million yen.
For a small factory, that support was more than a sales result. It proved that people could connect with the story, the machining, and the object itself.

Mahoroba: the next chapter
The following year, SAKAKI Gear released Mahoroba. It was supported by 484 backers and raised 7.2 million yen. The brand was still small, but its direction was becoming clearer.
Every piece carries the story
SAKAKI Gear remains a small factory. The products carry what the team has learned, what it has lost, and what it still believes in. That is why the brand’s message is simple: every piece tells the story of where it came from.
